Why hire?

There are so many reasons why hiring is better than buying. To keep it brief – financially, it is so much cheaper than fresh flowers. Environmentally, the tributes do not end up in landfill. Stress free, once you choose what you would like, we take care of the rest, from liaising with funeral directors to delivery and collection.

Do you use a courier?

No, never! We personally deliver and collect. This decision was made as we want to give you a personal service where you can be assured that everything will go to plan.

Can you make something bespoke?

Yes, of course we can. What you see on our Tributes for Hire page is what we currently have in stock. However, we are always expanding this range and would be happy to discuss your requirements. Whether it’s something simple like changing the colour or creating something bespoke to your loved ones’ personality.

Can we buy the tributes?

Although we mainly hire our tributes, we are flexible and you can purchase them on request.

Where do you deliver to?

We are based close to Stansted Airport, on the Hertfordshire/Essex border. We personally deliver and collect, free of charge, within a 20 mile radius. Some of the areas we cover are: Bishop’s Stortford, Cambridge, Sawbridgeworth, Braintree, Halstead, Witham, Chelmsford, Harlow, Epping, Chipping Ongar, Buntingford, Royston, Saffron Walden and the villages in between. However, if you are outside this area we still may be able to help. Just ask.

Can you deliver outside of your area?

Yes, let us know where you are. There may be a small fee to cover travel costs.

Can we order your tributes directly through our funeral directors?

Yes, we aim to contact all funeral directors in our 20 mile radius to set up good relations with them so that if you would prefer to order through them that is absolutely fine.

Where do people usually ask for the tribute to be delivered to and collected from?

The most common place for tributes to be delivered to are your chosen funeral directors, the day before the funeral. With your personal preference, the tributes will either be collected from the Crematorium or we arrange with the funeral directors to take them back to their base and we collect them from there.

Can we place our order online?

No, we could easily add a buying facility to our website, but we think that choosing flower tributes is very personal. Therefore, we want to give you a personal service, so let us know what lettering, colour ribbon and type of flowers you have in mind and we will discuss how we can provide that for you.

Can we hire sprays, hearts, religious symbols, hobby items from you?

Yes absolutely! Let us know what you would like and we will make it. If it is very personal then there maybe a small additional charge. However if it is something we feel we can use again then it will be at the standard rate.

Why do you not ask for a deposit?

We want to keep things as simple and easy as possible for you at this hard time. We understand that unlike other items that are traditionally hired out, there is minimal risk to our tributes (as we deliver and collect and they are being used for display only). We know sometimes they may get damaged (by weather or accident) but feel this is unlikely to happen often and should not be a cost we will pass onto you.

What payment methods do you accept?

We always send you a detailed invoice with a link to pay online. We prefer bank transfer as we do not have to pay fees for this. However, we have set up the facility to accept debits and credit cards through a provider called Stripe as we understand that this is sometimes easier for you.
